I found something interesting connected with climate of this village.
From about middle on the link - below the subtitle "Izmjereno i minus 39, nekada je i đačka tabla ledila" https://www.vijesti.me/vijesti/drust...ir-na-kosanici
Translation -- Teacher of history and geography Milutin Petrović, claim that with students he measured a temperature of -39 degrees Celsius about 10 years ago. "Together with children I measured the temperature for about 15 years, we made diagrams, before equipment of the Hydrometeorological service was installed near the school and official measurements started. Then we measured a temperature of -39 at a height of two meters from the ground", says Petrović. Says very low temperatures are consequence of the fact that Kosanica is geographically open towards the Durmitor. He states and that a larger stream flowing through the village affects on "deep minus." Only a kilometer further towards Glibaći, the temperature is much higher. It can be ten degrees warmer than in Kosanica", says Petrović. He points out Kosanica is known by fact that even during the summer morning temperature often drop below zero, and crops of the locals often being destroyed. Claims that low temperatures do not interfere locals in daily activities. "Since pellet heating was introduced, we have no problems warming up the school. This was not case earlier, when classrooms had to be heated by coal and wood stoves. How harsh the winters were it also shows that in many classrooms water on the erased blackboards froze." Now everything is different and the school has no problem with heating. We used to consume 40 tons of coal and few meters of wood, which is one of the indicators of harshness of Kosanica winters", said Petrović who was school principal for years.

-39c measured by the Milutin Petrović was probably on January 31, 2012. Because on that day at official stations on Pešter (Karajikića Bunari) was measured -36c and in Sjenica -29c (https://www.telegraf.rs/vesti/49165-...s-29-celzijusa), and these extremes in both places were lower than in February that year which was very cold in the Balkans and wider in Europe.

This morning Kosanica officially was very close to frost, minimum was 0.1c (more precisely 0.09c https://i.ibb.co/Lv4jxvP/IMG-20220616-170849.jpg)

Temperatures are measured at 2 meters from ground. At the ground minimums are almost always little lower than at 2 m, and temperature in Kosanica on the ground this morning was most likely bellow 0c
