Liberals are wrong to think that sex is merely another form of recreation such as picnics or quoits. It took me a while to figure this out or I just did not care too because I was too horny because the women I had sex with a decent chunk of them I can't remember their names.

I am a bit weird with this. I can have sex without feelings. I justify this as someone who has been constantly violated from a child to a virginal young woman. It’s possible for me to create camaraderie and foster a feeling of intimacy due to my extensive knowledge of psychology and what make people tick.

Ultimately, this has meant in my somewhat decade and some years of being sexually active, I am unable to let down my guard enough to trust someone enough to emotionally connect with them during sex. I haven’t had sex in over a year( my choice). I tend to have escapist fantasies of being held, i.e. loved, during the act.

So, I’m at a loss. I can continue this vulgar daymare or continue to dig for a more authentic experience for self.

I can’t be intimate with people I don’t have at least some kind of connection with. Plus, idk...seems dangerous to leave yourself that open to someone you don’t know. Maybe I’ve seen too many horror movies or maybe it’s my anxiety, all I know is that it’s not a turn on and it seems dangerous.

It depends on the objective, for one-night stands, no emotional connection, no numbers, hell, no names if you can swing it. For something serious I need to have an emotinal connection first, otherwise I can't put my heart into it. At the same time, I'm not very good with feelings, when I truly like someone, my most natural reaction is to not get too close.
