We also don't want intra-European immigrants, because we already have too much immigrants from ex-Soviet countries who were not welcomed.
Although Western Europeans learn Latvian language much faster than Russian speaking population. Russian speaking population learn much harder because they live in a parallel world.

I have an opinion there are good people(by education, values the person lives etc) in each country, maybe in different percentage but still.
I don't have a problem to anyone who is assimilating and respects the laws in Poland no matter where the person comes from.

I don't have any opinion about mass uncotrolled immigration, cause I haven't experienced it personally. Of course it still would be poor base for any opinion though but it's better than talking about topics that didn't affect you in any way

I wouldn't support it because I want each European country to remain being what they mostly are (though some intra-European immigration is OK for me, as long as it's not massive). But Europeans don't immigrate massively to other European countries. Is third worlders who do it.

I think the reason some Poles and Eastern Europeans in UK didn't know English is they were recent immigrants, not because they had something against the English language.
On the other hand, Pakistanis were present in UK since 1950 in large numbers. Blacks in UK come from an anglophone background. Many people from those non-white ethnicities come with entire families and have their children grow up in England, so ofc they know English better on avarage.
Many of the Eastern Europeans went alone recently to do low-class jobs where knowledge of English language wasn't needed at all (factory worker etc).
I had a (Hungarian) friend who worked in UK for some months, then came back. His days consisted of commuting between workplace( a factory) and his apartment, working, going to food store etc. He barely interacted with the Brits (non of his workmates were british), it's not very realistic to expect someone to learn English in such environment.
Just my thoughts.
