Proto-Bulgarians (Turkic people) looked like this

Modern Bulgarians are mix of Slavs and Vlachs who adopted Bulgarian Asiatic name in middle age, because they were under the rule of small Bulgar minority (warrior elite).
Bulgarians are like Hungarians, both nations are created in way that small Asian warrior elite conquered other people who adopted their name (and language in the case of Hungarians). If Bulgars conquered Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia etc. today people in these countries would be Bulgarians.

I noticed many Bulgarians deny Turkic origin of pro-Bulgarians, and they claim their Iranic origin. Proto-Bulgarians were Turkic and there are many evidences for that.

    Not iranic definitely
I think they say iranic because of Eastern Scythians
But Eastern Scythians can be 20% to 70% mongoloid so eastern Scythians were Turkics not iranics Today Tatars Bashkirs And other Central asiatics are closest proxy to Eastern Scythians

We have nice border, should keep it as it is.

Bulgarians are Bulgarians, Serbs are Serbs. Try to be good neighbors and thats it.

Modern Bulgarians from some regions still carry little Turkic autosomal dna. Peak is in Burgas with 12.1%.
