Yes, I do have ADHD. It's not as highly pronounced as it was in my childhood, but it still remains to this day. I can actually relate to Flashball's comment. School can be painful to one who has the disorder. We tend to focus less in general, especially on subjects we are not interested in. Subjects that require more attention from the students like math turns our life into hell as we can't keep up with the rest of the class and our teachers start considering us lazy people. We are not lazy, though. Nor are we dumb. I have seen many stupid people at school. They did just fine in math classes. Ironically, they were not rational or logical individuals. Many of them seemed to lack the capacity of reasoning, and still math classes were not as difficult to them as it was to me, for example. Not to sound arrogant, but this is what I have seen for the most part in my school. I have already graduated, by the way.

However, having ADHD is not always unpleasant. When learning topics, I have noticed that my brain usually focus on the most important things. I think most people do that anyway, but my condition seems to make me learn faster and memorize things rather easily. I have this funny and weird habit. Anytime I discover something which makes me astonished, I can't help myself but getting out of bed and walking around my house thinking about it and discussing it like I'm doing some sort of lecture. Incredible as it seems, this little weird habit of mine helps me to not only interalize things in a better way, but also to get them across to people whenever I feel like it. Therefore, the disorder has its advantages, too. I'm actually cool with the fact that I was born with it.

Yes. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was a kid. My mom has it, as well her mom. We all take meds for it. It doesn’t completely solve the problem, but it helps A LOT.

No but I am on the Autistic Spectrum (Asperger's Syndrome) so I suppose I can maybe relate to some of the things of ADHD?
