    I agree that some "Spaghetti-Western" movies are pretty good.

    The genius of Ennio Morricone is, however, well recognized.
    Agree with you on that last bit, although I must say that Morricone’s score for this film often flies under most people’s radar when discussing his prolific career. These are personal observations — so take my words with a grain of salt — but most Americans, at least, are only familiar with Morricone through the ‘Dollars’ trilogy.

    Side note: Filming also took place in Arizona’s Monument Valley.

    Here's my first submissions:

    one of the best movies of all time (this one is, above all, extremelly polarizing)

    one of the best guitarrist of all time, both in technique and in composition

    one of the best music videoclips of all time (pretty scary bruh )

    one of the best Portuguese musicians of all time, feel free to ask me for translated lyrics if you want, google translator plus some adjustments of the weird parts should do it easy enough

    Translation of the first Né Ladeiras song, by me:

    Aswan Nights

    What a pity
    I no longer remember the songs
    that the desert wind sung in the nights of Aswan
    over the sands
    I let myself be conquered
    by the words of light and shadow of Isabelle Eberhardt
    I had dreams that I never dreamed
    I reaped fruits that I never tasted
    I had fears kept in Alladin's chest
    I had dreams that I never dreamed
    I reaped fruits that I never tasted
    I had fears that they made up for me

    I went to the mountains
    I went bleeding out the pain
    I went calling for myself in the voice of the earth
    but what a pity
    I'm undressing myself of the wemen
    that have been tayloring that in which I've became today
    Greta Garbo, corsair of mine
    Frida Khalo, lady of mine
    Mother Theresa, or my soul in Calcutta

    What a pity
    I lost the Malhőes trail
    and I no longer hear the cutting owls of the Marăo mountains
    in the pack, I was a dreamer wolf
    going through life secretly in the direction of the light

    I had blue dreams that I never dreamed
    I reaped blue fruits that I never tasted
    I had fears kept in Alladin's chest

    I reaped fruits that I never tasted
    I had dreams that I never dreamed
    I had fears they made up for me

    And now, maybe I'll put my feet to the road
    maybe I've found the hour to say goodbye
    but what a pity
    I feel like crying
    and still I know I've never been this happy

    Greta Garbo
    Frida Khalo
    Mother Theresa, or my soul in Cacutta
    Greta Garbo
    Frida Kahlo
    and whatever else God gives.

    Translation of the second Né Ladeiras song, by me:

    Witch of Saudade

    Witch of saudade
    tell me where are the stars born
    companion of saudede
    how dare you to forget them
    don't forget me, nor that love that I have to forget
    don't forget me, nor that love that I wanted not to forget

    let the fisherman in the sea
    let the dancer dance
    let Leanor walk on the fountain where she goes barefoot and safe
    let the fighter fight
    let the player win
    let to the dreamer the part which belongs to him of love and madness

    patron of saudade
    tell me where nightmares go to
    messenger of saudede, how do you do to forget them
    don't forget me, nor that love that I have to forget
    don't forget me, nor that love that I wanted not to forget

    let the fisherman in the sea
    let the dancer dance
    let the Equator make a lace with water and lands around my waist
    let the good humour arrive
    let my love come back
    let to the dreamer the part which belongs to him of love and madness

    the third one is in Mirandese and I can't find the lyrics online, so it's a bit hard to translate

    This song is pretty cool

    Guess where most dislikes there come from though...
    Some triped out forum?!
    Why? Because people there think Rich is an idiot, because they know him from there?
    Well, they think they know him...
    and by some retarded logic that means he's a shit musician...pathetic

    and obviously this leads to other people there wandering where the fuck do the dislikes come from...their reactions lol
    ...ahhh the internet is a magical place

    now this phenomena here is a prime example of criminally underrated I tell ya.

    Gustave Caillebotte and his art. He is actually in my top 5 favourite painters of the 19th century yet he's relatively obcure.
    The very first painting - Les raboteurs de parquet (English title: The Floor Scrapers) is one of my favourite paintings of all time - there's a loy of power beaming from this work of art in my perception, it also features a very bold choice of perspective for its time (1875). It initially did not meet with acclaim as 'Despite the effort Caillebotte put into the painting, it was rejected by France's most prestigious art exhibition, the Salon, in 1875. The depiction of working-class people in their trade, not fully clothed, shocked the jurors and was deemed a "vulgar subject matter".[6] He was hurt by this rejection, and instead showed it at the second exhibition of the Impressionists, with whom he had already associated himself, in 1876.'

    These two movies are maybe not pieces of art exactly but I like them/

    The first of them called Frankenfish (2004) is a B-monster movie. There is a lot of unintentionally hilarious moments in this flick in which I was laughing out loud, and it's one of the more entertaining cheesy ones that I've watched. I've never felt boring watching it. Here is a trailer.

    And another one, called Slither (2006) with a much higher budget is an underrated horror /sci-fi/ (comedy?). It is ridiculous and very creative actually. One of my iconic scenes from Slither is this one.

    The Fray is a popular band overall but this song from them is very underrated imo. One of my favorites by them.
