Fully representative or not? I probably know the answer but I'd like to see what the Dominicans of the board think @Fincher @Andullero @Silvernight

I think overall the group is a bit darker. I only counted 12 pred. euro Dominicans. So in that sense they are underrepresented. They should be twice that amount or about 25.

It's gonna makes sense because most of our players come from the lower class of the South, East and Santo Domingo where whites are not common in that segment. Laureano and Bautista are from Santo Domingo but they were an exception. Both of them are of middle class background. Laureano is from the distrito nacional and Baurista has roots in Peravia (South) although he was born and raised in the capital. I think the former was draft in the USA. He looks like the typical pred. euro Dominican to me. Fits good in North Africa. Laureano:

And this is Jose Bautista. I would place him in North Africa too or somewhre in the arab world. Doesn't look European at all:

Provinces of origin of our peloteros:

    27% come from Santo Domingo
    30% from East
    20% from the South
    23% from the Cibao

I made a thread about the last Caribbeab series celebrated in Mazatlan (to me it has been the best sede for the serie del Caribe):

They’re a little darker than average. It looks like the phenotype distribution you’d find in villa mella and Santo Domingo este if IIRC

Yeah I agree. It looks like the phenotype distribution for the working class neighborhoods of Santo Domingo. Basically griffe-leaning with not as many balanced nor terceron-leaning folks. I think there should be more quadroons too. How SSA do they look to you on average btw.?
