She is Russian. The Karelian Isthmus is a former territory of independent Finland. According to the 2010 census, there are only about 4,5 thousand Ingrian Finns in the Leningrad Oblast.

And if people here say she looks more Finno-Ugric than Russian in real life no one will think that she looks non-Russian.

Non-Ingrian Finns, Karelians, Vepsians, and Izhorians also lived in the area of today's Leningrad Oblast.

I downloaded the file 02c_Leningradskaja_obl_new.xls for data from the 2002 census: http://lingvarium.org/russia/settlem-database.shtml. It included a few villages with a Vepsian majority:

Kinda agree with not-so-fresh look. She's only 28 in the last pics.
But the climate has nothing to do with it. In hot (and especially dry) countries, people turn into dried apricots (kuraga) much faster.
