Classify the councillors of Angus, Northeastern Scotland

A mix of Alpine, Sub-Nordid, Borreby, Brunn, Keltic Nordid, Atlantid and Norid traits.

Considering it is just across the water from Norway and supposedly had a large Viking settlement, I don't find them that Scandinavian-looking.

Typically British looking bunch, could pass in the Midlands much more easily than they would ever pass in Norway, CM is quite common in both countries but their general complexion and mild features puts them more in the British camp while Norwegians look more eastern, only difference i would say is that the typically smaller slanted eyes that i associate with Scots seem more numerous.

a lot faces that could pass here (or in France and Germany for instance) but it must be due to age. First row the gentleman on the very right has an oldschool Bavarian face actually.

Actually always took the Scots to be a bit more Germanic shifted than the English on average, not surprised you think many can pass in your part of Europe though as a group they still look more or less British.

Yes, even people from the east coast of England and Scotland are quite different from Scandinavians imo, especially when seen as groups.

No lighter than (Northern) French to be honest and also quite similar: plenty of Alpines mixed with local CMs and some Aryan. The difference would be that French have more Med and Aryan, but they all pass

North East Scotland wasn't historcally conquered unlike the West Coast that was. I think there was a big period of Anglo-Norman immigrants though.

The dark younger guy at the top is an English Tory actually, he has a social media presence.
