Some Sicilians and Italians are of Gypsy origins. They go by italian ethnicity though especially outside italy in america etc.

In this youtube video she reads her genetic results, and the combination thereof is typical of gypsies, and she is likely of sinti origins in italy. But she just thinks she is italian american.

I've never seen any Sinti results, but she could well just be a quarter South Asian, a quarter Italian, and half British. She says she didn't know who her maternal grandfather was and that he was the origin of the South Asian.

Nah, she has also western asian, and her results are exactly like that combination of a roma. It would be unlikely she is exactly that mix, that mix is quiete unique. I didnt hear her saying her grandfather was southasian, not in that video, tell me where did you hear it, did you watched her other videos? Because in that video she doesnt mention it, she speaks about privilege, and if she was fetishized for her ethnicity or targeted, she just reads her 23andMe when she was asked what her ethnicity is.

Also her southasian results align with roma results "29% central&southasian" of that mostly northern indian with traces of bengali etc. And she has western asian as well.

It is immediately visible what a roma result is, if you compare the roma results on 23andme.

That combo in those proportions is very unlikely to be anything else.

Lol. If you take a look at the comments on her video, you'll see a bunch of people calling her ''mediterranean'' and that she looks ''Middle Eastern, Italian, Greek or Spanish". What's interesting to me is how it's always these amerimutts and Arabs talking on the Internet about the "Mediterranean race".
In Europe itself even Swedes wouldn't compare Italians to Egyptians and Palestinians. Simply the notion of it sounds ludicrous. In reality the girl can't pass even in a single part of Turkey, let alone in Europe.

No need to be touchy about it. At 2:41, she writes "For clarification my mother was adopted and unaware of her paternal heritage until a month ago when we took the 23andMe so our family never identified with any of her predominantly Asian roots and culture I wish we did". As I'm sure you're aware, Italians routinely get West Asian in their results. And her Central/South Asian is at 30%, very much in line with a grandparent. I'm not saying that is the case, but it could be. There are only 150,000 gypsies in Italy. At any rate, it seems you've written her about it. So I guess we'll see, eh?
