what ever do you mean by socialism having a fast growing economy? You agree that people are unfair at least in part, so how can you believe in socialism, an ideology that requires everyone play by the rules in order to work?

The dotted columns represent the actual grows of USSR's economy in percents per year. AFAIK, that's really fast. And I know that it's not bare figures - the progress in economy and science was very visible.

I don't quite get your idea. Any state has "rules to follow" - laws. And means to make sure they are respected.
