this haplogroup was found in a 9th century Bulgar sample from Central Bulgaria:

There's a Bulgarian from Western Bulgaria carrying it today, his closest match being from the Turkic populated Xinjiang region in China.

I recall they were expecting him to be under L330, if these unpublished results are true then it is a surprise. However good to see that the recent effort of BulgarianDNA in order to test 2 modern Q individuals awarded with an SNP match.

For the information, the sample dates to the 9th century and from around the modern-day Kazanlik.

Rap music is for children. As for who looks more european, albanians in general look far more european than greeks

It's the paleo southeuropean lines e-v13, j2b-l283 and smaller amounts of j2a that make albanians look slightly darker than other europeans (except for italians, spanish and portuguese) - these make up over 50% of albanian y dna
