Why they have those flags under their photos?

Argentinians, but are they cherypicked in any way? they look "lighter" than a group of the same number of Spanish natives.

It´s quite strange for me that all of them (or practically all of them) have both Spanish surnames being from Argentina, no Italian/German/French/Portuguese surnames?
