We had so many South Asians in mine, the yearbook went by a modified version of the alphabet: A-Z+Patel.

My group of friends were always diverse and I’m thankful for that.
Houston has a large community of South Asian and Menas. My area didn’t have as many blacks. And of course a large amount of Latinos

45% of my school was blacks and latinos. there were very few menas and east/south asians
