In my school as other only would qualify a couple of Haitians, a couple of chinks and Japs (in the high school part of my Catholic school) and a very Andean looking Peruvian chick.

I had three half Romanian/half Syrian colleagues. I remember these girls, in middle school and high school were really good at exact sciences.

There was no immigration in Spain, there was a girl who was kind of strange to me and I asked her where she was from and she told me that her parents were from the Canary Islands. Then there was a Chilean, I saw him recently, he was only one year older than me, I can't believe it, I saw him and he looked like a little old man, super old, I'm still in shock.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

Yes. From all of the racial groups except MENA. Instead of MENA classmates my closest neighbors were MENA from Egypt. Most of my classmates were mixed-race Latin Americans.
    Spoiler!

I had a pretty diverse class considering I grew up in Belarus. We had a black boy with an Arabic name, Georgian boy, Tatar girl from Kazakhstan, Cossack girl from South Russia, Tatar girl from Crimea, and several girls from Ukraine - their families were relocated after Chernobyl power plant explosion.

I grew up with all of the above. (Blacks, SE Asians, Hispanics, MENA, South Asians)

In fact the schools I attended had a minority of Anglos and were predominantly Hispanic lol. (We lived in the middle-class suburbs)
It never bothered me, I was able to get along with pretty much everyone and I enjoyed the multicultural atmosphere.
Growing up, my very close friends were Mexican, Puerto Rican, Persian, Afghan and Vietnamese.

Multicultural cities definitely have their ups and downs. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I started to disagree with a lot of economical influences due to it.

No. Other racial groups were extremely rare in Croatia until the last few years.
