Oh and there was a White American girl in my Year 6 class at the Catholic primary school.

When I moved to Swansea and attended FE College, there was a half-Egyptian girl and a part-Croat boy in my English Language class, a French girl and a guy of Iranian descent in my Spanish class and a half-Iraqi girl in my Sociology class.

Furthermore, although they were not in my classes, during my time there I did also meet two more Iranians, two Germans, a Vietnamese girl, a German-Dominican girl, a Trinidadian-American girl, a White American girl, an Italian girl, a half-Pakistani guy, a part-Egyptian guy, a guy of Polish descent and some Welsh-Italians. (Most of those were students of the now-defunct International Baccalaureate programme, who I got to know quite well and generally got on with).

I don't remember the exact country they were from. Just that they were pretty Mestizo and had a Swedish stepfather who seemed to work a white collar job (I never asked, but recall that he wore a suit). Something I remember thinking was odd, since they lived in the poorest area while inviting others over for dinner and playing the Super Nintendo, lol.

They were probably from Chile, but could have been from Bolivia as well.

Turks, Syrians, Iraqis, Iranians and a Somali?
All or most of them from Iraq and Somalia. Kurds from Iraq and Arabic-speaking Muslims, I guess. I am not sure Sweden had too many Syrians at that time yet.

Yep, my school always had all of these racial groups. The diversity was high. Mostly whites, good amount of asians, some Hispanics, and barely any blacks. But they all were there.

    Black Africans - No
East Asians - Some in Primary school in Melbourne, but only one Chinese girl in the whole High School, whose father ran the Chinese restaurant in town. A few Filipinos in the school though, they were OK.
South Asians - One Indian boy in primary school I can remember, and a Sri-Lankan girl I didn't like.
MENAs - A few Iraqi refugees in primary school, thankfully they moved away soon after. They were mostly no good.
    Latin Americans - No.

Where in NY did you grow up? And were there more East Asians or South Asians?

As an American who lives in a moderately sized city and went to school within the last decade, yes to all, especially hispanics, and rarely but still notably MENAs
