You guys are confusing ethnicity with phenotype. Of course "Moldavians" are Romanians: by virtue of language and traditional culture but not by virtue of looks (which is pred. East Slavic with Balkan influences). Hungarians are definitely not Romanians by virtue of language and traditional culture, but by virtue of looks they look like a Western extension of Romanians (lots and lots of overlap, but differences do exist).
A similar case would be ethnic French. In looks they are closest to Southern Germans, but ethnically they are Romance but phenotypically they are Gaulish-Germanic mixes (at least in North).
