I know a South Korean guy that lives my country. He and his family came here as immigrants. They are grateful for become part of their new country. They thought they need to give something good back to their new country. They work hard as a form to thanks, because they are grateful to have a job here. My friend always do overtime and he never ask extra payment for it and he does it just because he is grateful to live in his new country and because he has a job here and because he always want to do his best at work. He take it too serious and developed insomnia, he always studied a lot and he had got awards at school, specially rewards in Olympiads of his new language.
So, these immigrants need to think like these South Koreans. I admire my friend's thoughts and I think like him too. Just to compare these different cultures. They are so different, no?

These North Africans are illegals who arrived in Gran Canaria by boat and they had been expelled from the centres for immigrants. They are dangerous criminals who should not have been released from detention facilities in the first place. The Spanish island of Gran Canaria is a holiday resort that is close to the African west coast. Probably the enforcement of immigration law is lax on the island.

These men were causing trouble before but I don't understand why they were just allowed to interact with the residents of the island.

Woman was Irish who has lived on the island for several years.

The mayor of Mogan, Onalia Bueno, said yesterday that if confirmed, she hopes that the detainees will be transferred to the Foreigners Internment Centre (CIE) in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria so they can later be deported.

They should be fingerprinted or their blood taken and put in a database so if they are deported in the future they will never be allowed into Europe.

Anyway the whole asylum thing needs a complete overhaul.

You're most probably very mistaken about what I support. I'm more ethnocentric if anything but I'm not someone who believes your ethnicity makes you better than someone else. I'm anti-immigration and think the refugee thing is a sham. Does that make me centrist? I'm not against immigrants that will be an asset such as people that will integrate and are hard working.

I'm always amazed that people will pigeon hole you on here. I don't think I follow any philosophy. I've always marched to my own drum.
