The category was first introduced into the GFSI in 2017 as an adjustment factor and, given its increasing importance, has been mainstreamed for the first time this year.

There is a reason Romania is 22 and we are at 44. After the great red fall, they didn't destroy communist farming cooperatives but reformed them and keep using them to this day.

I'm surprised Australia is not one of the top countries. Possibly because of the chance of bushfires and drought but Australia produces plenty of produce and can easily feed all her people.

Ireland of course is a great dairy producing country and I'm surprised about Finland because they don't have a lot of arable land (they have a lot of forests) so that is interesting that they are no 1. Finns are very innovative though.
