Baldness incidence in southern people

Ive heard it once that people who live under hot climates (southern europe,MENA,africa) have more chances of being bald earlier in their life. What is your opinion? do you think its true

dunno.. are SSA really that prone to balding? i dont know tbh. But look at malays or amerindians in the tropical regions, they have essentialy zero balding, could be because of their common mongoloid heritage though, but i doubt it has a impact on balding. IIRC a special enzyme/Gene that also causes heavy beard growth or body hair in general is also linked to balding. So less the climate is responsible but the prevelance of body and facial hair in these populations.

Interesting....i would think that tropical amerinds would have thin hair thus more chances of balding but i need to educate myself on that

yeah, but like most mongoloids their hair is rather thick and straight, this is typical for mongolian people, in some amerindian populations slightly wavy hair can occur, but more the exception, as for balding i think its almost unheard of. I once saw a incan/quecha man in a documentary who was slightly balding, him was really the only amerindian i ever saw who had signs of balding and it wasnt severe, and he could have been slightly mixed aswell. now that i think about... in japanese or chinese balding can occur more frequently however.

Hair in humans is useless so it will dissappear, we, bald people are spreading our genes since centuries to achieve a future in which all humanity will be bald. Hairy people must disappear!!!

I dont know,might be because i was little i was told to put a cap on my head to protect the top from the sun

I think it has more to do with genetics and diet. Most White people will loose at least some amount of hair in their lives, given that mantaining a Norwood 1 for life is practically impossible. I just turned 21 and I’m between Norwood 2 and 3.

I have also heard that one of the symptoms of veganism is early hair loss. (Most vegans are white)
