As a group, I don't think they are much darker than the Spanish Senators posted in the another post (if at all really).
They are old, well dressed, less tanned, I think they are more representative than people in clubs in the middle of the summer. (Or the Afro-Indid-Amerindian looking "Italians" that other member usually post)
About 5 of them have names or apperances that suggest foreign origin.
Edit: I missed this woman http://www.senato.it/leg/18/BGT/Sche...n/00032691.htm and this man with a strage surname http://www.senato.it/leg/18/BGT/Sche...n/00032651.htm

Definitely Italian senators have better image consultants and photographers than Spanish senators.
Each Spanish senator seems to have had their photo taken for the senate in a different place.

A lot of Atlantid-Dinarid-Med combinations. They resemble the most Mediterranean-influenced 30% or so of French people.

Basically the whole spectrum from Classic Med to Central and Pan West types

I count about 30,40 gracile med/east med type out of 300, a 10-13% that presumably fit the Italian average genetic profile. Also I count about 15,20 true nordic types, just 5,6% obviously lower than the genetic profile, the effect might be because of recessive genes or adaptation to med climate.

I count about 40 that would pass as central Euro, better looking in general than the Spanish set and a lot better looking than Brit politicians of course
