Well, the 6 counties being part of the UK is a living grievance for Irish nationalists, and 'the troubles' is within living memory for people in Northern Ireland, as well as IRA bombings in England. But it would be stupid for Irishmen to hold a grievance towards the modern British about what happened in the 1910s or earlier (although many do, my dad included).

And of course this is still relevant. Irish Government is taking legal action against the British Government to the European Court of Human Rights.

Excluding the 15 years or so of Hitler’s rule, no country’s past is more atrocious or evil-ridden than that of the British. Colonizing continents, enslaving millions, and looting anything they could get their hands on. Germans have done very little of any of this. Even during World War II, their ambitions were clear and there was no trickery with them. Their goal was genocide and they did not hide it.

I find it strange how Germans developed this notion of racial superiority, rather than the British? Is English not the lingua franca of the WORLD at this point? To this day German is still only spoken mostly by its own ethnic blood. English is spoken almost everywhere with decent publicity. Germans seem much less imperialist than the Anglos, yet it somehow crossed their mind to become Nazis, but that same spark never happened with the English... they were so much more powerful than the Germans... and yet, they went against Hitler in the end when it came to determining Germanic superiority.

This probably sounds extremely weird... but would Nazi Britain have made more sense?

Guess how much English MyHeritage gave me.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was 40% or something like that. I think these companies need to have different reference panels for different parts of England. Southeast English are more similar to parts of Germany. It would be interesting to see if doing that improved the results of people. It is possible because if they used IBD they would definitely be better but I guess Genetic Groups are the way to go but even with using GGs MyHeritage is not always correct either. Ancestry's GCs are quite accurate.

Yes, the MyH estimations are the worst compared to the other firms. It's indeed 100%. However, luckily my parents are also tested and guess what? They have 0% and about 40%.

Wow! That would confuse a lot of people. Some people take their results so seriously as well including the tiny trace regions. Their raw data is very good just their ethnicity estimates really need improving.
