You are projecting the present onto the past. Just 100 years ago our societies were radically different: as for the Norse you can read the sagas. They were pretty moral people in a non-Christian way: it's an entire society governed by concepts of honor, bravery and retaliation.

The biggest red flag is her age. Think of an ideal woman. As intelligent, beautiful, and healthy as you'd like. Now, let's say you're 30 years old looking for a woman to settle down. You meet the ideal woman of your dreams and she's 25. Ready to date and marry her? Wait, there's a detail you're missing. If this princess is so beautiful, intelligent, and healthy, why is she single at 25? Think about it, she has met many men in High School, in College, at the gym, and at work. If she's so precious, why is she not taken? Do you really think she spent all that time of her life looking for a perfect man to settle down? No, the simple answer is that there is something wrong with her. She might be abusive, she doesn't know how to choose a partner and ends up dumping him for no apparent reason, she's borderline, promiscuous, neurotic, hypergamic, toxic, unloyal, and a bitch.

Even if her ex-boyfriend was the problem, what about the others? Being that gorgeous and eccentric, she didn't have only one boyfriend until she's 25, which means she had many other boyfriends before her ex. Were all of the other boyfriends she had wrong and her right? Were they the ones to blame and her the victim? Of course not.

So if a man wants a decent woman to marry who is not a slut and not problematic, he needs to search for the younger ones (18-21). Older than that is a major red flag, but we know modern women start their sexual life when they're teenagers, so even the younger ones might be dirty.
