Portugal is about 22% light eyed by the same standard that Germany is around 70%. End of discussion. I've studied this for 14 years and no biased Portuguese forum member trying to light wash his nation is going to lecture me on this. The Blade's studies are total crap, he found Bulgarians lighter than the French, he's trying to light wash Southern Europe.

Absolutely. His pigmentation studies are laughable. But he wasn't trying to lightwash southern Europe, he lightwashed pretty much everyone (some more, some less)

I think he was initially doing legit work until he got to Bulgaria, which he lightwashed thinking people are gonna expect him to lightwash it anyway so he overdid it. So in his following studies he decided to relax standards for blondness for others too in order to make his Bulgaria work look more believable.

Idk, I think he lightwashed Croatia (he had more than 50% light eyes iirc) as well, or wrote NordoCromagnids are common there, or in Portugal - lol
But than I realized that he has Bulgaria lighter than Croatia (Italy too I think), than it became real circus.
