I gave food to beggars before and a few euros. But I really dont like the Gypsy beggars, though Im a Gypsy, but they tend to curse you and be annoying. I gave food to a black african beggar though, because he never asks, or is annoying, he just stands there, and you give him or dont, he never asks, and he seems as if he is not humiliating his pride, though he is a beggar, he is so decent and peaceful that everyone gives him money. I especially dont like beggars in church, or cemetery, that i consider shameless or dishonorable. But I think the church allows them, maybe even invites them, but I dont know why. The police would remove them if the parish priest called them, probably he invites them to begg.

I only give food to eat & items that can help them. I don't encourage giving them money.

Yes that’s true, also a good portion are not actually homeless. They park their cars in the nearest parking lot and walk to an underpass or median Lolol

Only if they really need money for something priority like food, because if it is to continue with their addictions, I would not give them anything, it is ugly for a person to take advantage of your nobility in that way.
