Rarely. Beggars sitting by the roadside, drunk, don't get money from me. Only those who are ill or unable (physically) to make money. Others have a problem in their head.

It's not as black and white as that. It is not for us to decide the exact time or day when someone should stop with a bad habit.

I don't feel disgust and can empathise with their situation, however, we mostly live in welfare states where begging is not necessary.

A friend of mine was once approached by a beggar.. The beggar told him "I need money for food", my friend replied "I too need money for food, that's why I'm on my way to work now"

Most of them are liars and do not even need your money. Plus, some of them have more money in their bank accounts than average people. Why would I make lazy people richer?
