1) You are trying to 'install' the idea that I said that most Jewish people have tertiary education or high incomes, which is false

This is another lie from Rethel. Many Christians of course believe in magic, especially less-educated people. A small amount of Jews also believe in magic, especially hassidim. However, in both Orthodox Judaism and High Church Catholicism, magic, astrology etc. are considered fiction at best.

However, both religions must recognise that their scripture does include references to magic, such as the Witch of Endor - therefore denying the existence of magic is blasphemous, hm? nonethless, both religions do deny it, at least in the modern era.

We're defining magic as supernatural powers granted by God. Of course no Jews believe in smoke and mirrors either, but some Hassidim do believe in grand old rabbis who could teleport, and many equally low-class and uneducated Protestants believe in faith healers and the like. I would suggest in both cases a very large majority of the people, and nearly all of the major authorities, do not believe in magic - same in Islam. It's the belief of the commonfolk and would have been more usual 1,000 years ago.

But on a general level the beliefs in supernatural forces that operate in everyday life are present in most cultures, and Im not talking just about religious belief systems, but in the belief of forces like angels, demons, and the belief in canalizing or warding them off by spell or talismans.
These folk beliefs are not followed by a minority of observant jews, but most of them will engage in some kind of concern for keeping supernatural forces on check.
