Can Zidane father, Ismail pass in Northern Europe?

Well there is something European in their looks obviously, but in general they look like some Middle Eastern- European mixes to me. His dad looks like he could pass in Central-Eastern Europe if not Balkan or Caucasus. Some Finns, Balts and Russians could also have similar looks, but again he is old in those photos and if i had to guess then he fits Balkan and Turkey better IMO (regardless of whether there seems to be something North Western European in his appearance).

Agree with you. Thanks, sadly I haven't found any picture of Smail younger, all are of him as an old man.
