It won't change much and perverts will be perverts. I think a lot of this excessive porn consumption is a matter of alienation, lack of social skills, no gf etc and I'm not sure if there is legislation that can remedy that.

A lot of it is, but a lot of it in the first place is from ease of access. Porn addiction contributes to those things. Anything that can be done to curtail it is worthwhile. It's epidemic now, and it's fucked up to not care.

We do things and reflect they are wrong, whats worse is if you try to justify or excuse something objectively wrong.

We all lust after women, watched porn, objectify women. Just because of that we are not supposed to know we do wrong?

I support a law that is triying to make it harder for us to be degenerates. I dont give a shit about free speech and democracy. Either a law is righteous or not, this one is rightous. Id support a bann of advertisement that contains half naked women too.

My point is this law won't change anything and was done not out of benevolence for the children but to win culture war political points with the Mormon voting base. Mormon culture is full of bullshit and facades but God forbid I point out this hypocrisy. I do think porn can be harmful btw but do you really think this law will curtail anything?
