Are women more "close-minded" ?

I noticed most forums and famous sites tend to be dominated by men everywhere on the internet (no matter the language) even on youtube most videos about history, astronomy, video games, documentaries of all sorts, etc are produced/watched by men while in general women tend to always focus their interest into only a few subjects.


Historically you can bring the argument of women being purposely put aside but now with internet this argument doesn't work anymore, I really feel like men tend to be more "open-minded" and have more center of interests. There must be an evolutionnary explanation for this (maybe men used to have more free time than women which favored their sense for exploration/curiosity idk).

Quite possibly. Also, when it comes to sexual issues in particular, I think women ON AVERAGE tend to be more conservative (at least with a small 'c') regardless of their overall political views.

You have to expand your horizons more. You are always weighing too much on sexuality as if it were the pinnacle of creation or something that gives you superpowers.

I don’t know if it’s necessarily close-mindedness but these subjects you mention aren’t of usual interest to women. Just a generalization but I’ve noticed most women tend to follow makeup artists, fashion idols, and mom groups on social media. Perhaps this is because these subjects are female-dominated, where as the topics you mentioned are mostly Male-dominated.
It would be nice if more women took interest in intellectual topics rather than pop culture. I could never talk to my friends about the subjects that truly interest me haha. I was always the weirdo/nerd of my group of friends, I’m surprised they even took me in.

exactly but that's the problem why some of these topics are "male-dominated" ? It's not even only about intellectual subjects look at reddit, 4chan or youtube for example (I also have some good examples in the french-speaking part of internet). I think the only explanation would be some kind of biological predisposition (which effects are reduced among smarter women).
