The people are literal drunkards for men and whores for women, who age badly also (although these older generations lived through the USSR, so the younger one might age better). Plus, Russia isn't that homogeneous. Only European Russia and the Far East are ethnic Russian exclusively almost.

Christianity lives in the heart and soul not in a building or institution. It should not be a competition. In rural America you have more churches than businesses, that doesn't make them more or less Christian.
