Default Zsellérs (Żelarzes, Želiars, Söllners) in Hungary and Slovakia.

I harldy find how it is called in slovak, so sorry, but I can't in hungarian.
But as this word came from hungarian and was in the same country then
I think it will be understood by hungarian speakers also.

My question is: when the last želiarish obligatons were abolished in both Hungary and Slovakia
(and evetually in other parts of the former hungarian kingdom like Romania and Yugoslavia)?

In Poland, in ex-hungarian villages, last želiar-obligatons were abolished in 1931, and the last Želiar died in 2006.

I can't find it in any other language than polish and slovak.

It is s form of tenancy of land, para-feudal rent, which was not abolished by emancipation acts in 1848.

želiar is a Slovak word not Hungarian, and 90% of Slovaks neither know what the word is.

Rethelite what kind of drugs you use.

Insted of insulting, you would rather educate yourself, because such things you should know. It is primary school level.

Here: https://sk.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%BDeliar I have in mind the first meaning.

Zsellérs were simple peasants, nowadays it's mosty a pejorative term. In Hungary the feudalism ended after 1945, Horthy kept the old feudal social system of Habsburg Monarchy, and the communists abolished it.

I don't need to check my native dictionary since this word is archaic at this point and noone uses this word, why would you even create this nonsense thread.

Read the first post, and if you are so wise, then answer the question: when the żeliar's obligations were abolished
in Slovakia. For such wise man like you, it shoudln't be a problem. So stop whining and share your wodefull wisdom.
