Default How caucasoid is the Northeast of Brazil?

Apparently Maranhao is the least European-admixed state of the whole Brazil (around 42% caucasoid) and Bahia the most SSA (around 38%). But what about the rest?

It looks like Bahia is more negroid along the coast and the interior less. I imagine it would be the same for Maranhao?

From my experience, most people in Maranhão are predominantly Amerindian with some Iberian component.

Maranhão is an interesting case to me, they seem to be the most Amerindian influenced state in the union, which I presumed would be a northern state, like Amazonas, but since the latter is more Euro than Maranhão, it downgraded their Amerindian imput, despite being larger than the SSA.

I assume the Euro imput for Northeast Brazil to be around 60%.

Not sure about culture, but when it comes to genetics, Maranhão seems more like a northern state than northeast.

While Bahia is the stereotyped image of Brazil, very African influenced in it's genes, phenotypes and culture. it definitely has a diferent vibe from northern ones.
