East Med is probably more common in the capital/city of Săo Paulo, which received a good chunck of Terrone immigrants, being very common in bairros like Brás, Bixica, Mooca, like Calabrians and Campanians.

People forget that the Italian immigration to Brazil was not homogenously Polentone, it was diverse, from all regions of Italy, even if the Northern Italic imput was stronger.

In the Southern Region: most Italians were from North, so they'll be more West Med/North Atlantic shifted.

Same for Espírito Santo: more than 90% Polentone, mainly from Veneto.

In Săo Paulo, like I said previously, you had a good mix of Polentones and Terrones, so the capital is probably the most East Med shifted place in the country, but not implying it's the majority among it's whites, don't forget the colonial + recent Portuguese imput there, plus Polentones and Spaniards, who are more Northern/Western shifted.

When you look at the carnival of Salvador you see a lot of very homogenously SSA groups/crowds. But that's probably because blacks are over displayed in the festivities (somehow like it happened in Rio or La Habana).
