my origin is kosovo and we dont have greek community there, so I grow up by having a neutral/negative opinion on them, but since moving to Germany I have befriended a lot of Greeks and now I have a very positive opinion on them, I have seen that they don't hate us and the only ones, that do hate us are mostly kids and internet warrior, very similar to us in a lot of things, how we talk how we eat, curse, greet each other, drink, the music.

I have been to Corfu, Thessalonica, Parga and the border part with Albania with family it was heaven on earth

Smart ass comments above (except for Stearsolina's, she commented before I posted). To me, Greece is an important country that has a large influence on Western culture. If it weren't for Greeks soldiers fighting the brown hordes coming from the east, Europe as a whole would be trampled under foot by Mongol and Semite invaders. We all have to celebrate the enlightenment given by this incredible people to the world. And on a personal note, I hope I have some Greek ancestors, haha.

Well Greeks fought white hordes from the north as well. I appreciate that you admire my ethnicity but I don't appreciate people like you who use our personal history for your modern racist ideas. GTFO. Ancient Greeks had a lot more in common with "eastern hordes" (who were in fact a lot more advanced than northern Europeans) than we ever did with northern barbarians at the time.

Greece to me is partly my home because I'm half Greek. I only been to Greece once but I felt at home because I'm used to being around Greek culture. I love Greece's history, culture, scenery, architecture, and everything in between. I can't wait to go again after the COVID restrictions pass by.
