I guess I view this forum as a place where such opinions can be shared and where people are sufficiently comfortable with the subject that they'll take it in stride. Now, if I'd said you are unattractive, that would be different. So really, you've been far ruder to me in this discussion than I have to you.

I don't accept it would be rude in any public environment. I accept that politically correct people would consider it so and some people might be offended. But people are offended everywhere, over many other things just as meaningless as whether I think Semitic features are generally attractive or not. Discussing ethnic differences period is seen as rude in the 21st century. It's all pretty relative at the end of the day. I can put up with people's negative opinions of Americans all day long. I guess my skin is thicker than some. You could have said Americans are generally unattractive, and, although I would have disagreed, I really don't think it would have bothered me much. I would have taken it as your opinion. I would not have felt personally insulted, as you apparently do here. I'm kind of amazed actually at how personally you took that.

The irony here is, you actually believe in objective beauty (i.e. symmetrical and harmonious features, which we all, if we have open minds, are supposed to consider beautiful). I think beauty is mostly subjective. So your view of beauty actually does elevate certain people. I at least allow that other ethnic and racial groups are attractive to their own kind. Whose assertion is more discriminatory and insulting? The poor person who doesn't have symmetrical features must be very offended indeed at your rude comment.

This is cyclical, you said the same thing already. Yes, I am being extremely rude by mentioning facial symmetry, it's the same thing as blurting out how you find such-and-such a race bad-looking. If I said 'people tend to find people with harmonious features attractive' and you said 'I don't find black people attractive and I don't think most people do' at a dinner table with both blacks and uglies, all eyes would be on me.

Please define Light Skinned, there are many skin complexions that are classified as light skinned. Most South Europeans (Iberians included) are naturally light skinned. There are different kinds of skin tones that are classified even as "Fair" or "Fair-ish" most South Europeans are Fair or Fair-ish skinned, Fair-ish skinned is essentially Fair skin with a slight yellowish, sometimes weirdly greyish tint. Some people call this Pale Olive, some people call it Beige, a lighter version of Beige would be Cream, which many South Euros have as well. Certain versions of Fair skin can look Pale without even being Pale either, but that's beside the point

Ann's complexion is Very Fair, aka Pale Fair. She passes as broadly European in my opinion, all the way from Greece to the United Kingdom. The people that are saying she looks "Semitic" are an utter joke, nothing about her is Armenoid, nothing about her is Orientalid. She passes the best in West Europe, could be a Dark Brit, French, Iberian, Italian etc. Could also be a Dark German as well, if there are any Jews that look like her it's the same reason that there Levantines that look like Europeans, it's because Near-Easterners overlap very well with Europeans because of how genetically close they are to Europeans. Do people seriously think the moment you leave Greece and enter Turkey there is a gigantic difference in genetics and phenotype?

they are quite a heterogenous group becausr living and mixing with people all around the world, I guess, so they can look like anything. but she has some more specific look that is usually linked to Jews. like some looks are more British, other more Italian etc
