Most quadroons probably wouldn't be seen as Black in my country. Someone like Barrack Obama would be seen as black though, even if he's a mulatto.

No. However i do know of a Quadroon who looks stereotypically mulatto and was perceived as black in Russia but his siblings as white.

Well, most of us don't have a heck of a lot of experience with recent mixes. The fact that what we know as "black" includes up to 50% European blood doesn't mean much because it was absorbed centuries ago. But yes, we tend to associate people with their minority non-white admixture. It's a legacy of racism. And it's healthy for the preservation of the majority. Simple exclusivism. The fewer outside influences you allow in, the more you will preserve who you are.
