I don't qualify for the question but my mother is 1/32 Irish, other than that fully English, and my father has some known Welsh and English ancestry based on surnames, but unknown how much, probably a very small percentage, other than that fully Irish.

These small percentages from other British Isles countries are the norm in the UK, less so in Ireland but the ethnic Irish also have a lot of English/Welsh/Scottish surnames.

In addition, living examples of the precursor Haplogroup IJ* have been found only in Iran, among the Mazandarani and ethnic Persians from Fars.[1] This may indicate that IJ originated in South West Asia.

I congratulate you on re-inventing the wheel, and stating the obvious that humans don't originate from Europe.

IJ ancestor is foreign, but all I-descendants are born and evolved in Europe.

The people who share haplogroups with Iran, Persians and SouthWest Asians are actually R folk.
