I don't know exactly. My grandmother ancestry is very complicated, mixed and mysterious. She never wanted to discuss it and simply declared as Croat.
She was German mixed with Serb and most probably Greek, maybe Hungarian too. There were rumors they were part Jews too, and even possibly part Armenian.

Her family lived in Syrmia, before than Banat and Budapest and who the hell knows what were they exactly. Such super mixed people were not so rare in old Austro-Hungary, especially among urban residents.

None of my ancestors mixed during communist Yugoslavia, but during Austro-Hungarian era.
