Best: unification of germans, social measures, to fight against unemployment, die Autobahn, resurrection of Germany after the WW1
Worst: his antisemitism, wrong military decisions

One of the greatest political leader of the 20th century. Actually I can't find another politician of this century that can be compared with him. He can only be compared with others great politician of History, like Napoléon, Alexander the Great, Attila, etc.

Now he was a human being and had his flaws like every one else.

He seems to me that sometimes he was too much peaceful and good-natured. For example, in 1940 he should have pushed further and crushed England when he had the best occasion instead of being magnanimous and try to ally with them. He had already tried that several times before and at this point he should have understood that the time for negotiation was over and that being magnanimous with the English was like being magnanimous with a viper. Maybe sometimes he should have been less peaceful and diplomatic and be more ruthless.

This may be due to some misplaced racial prejudices. As he considered the Anglo-Saxons for his cousins and therefore that they should normally accept an alliance. He also believed that a true German could never be a traitor. While in fact many Germans betrayed him. At the opposite, his reluctance at incorporating the Slavs was probably excessive. Though his mindset seems to have changed later. And he refrained too cooperate more thoroughly with the Arabs, to not displease to his ally Mussolini, a renunciation that he regretted later.
