Polonophobia is a thing only in America. Polish jokes in America were spread by the mass media. They were all just rewrites of 1800's Swedish jokes from back when Swedes were the big group of recently arrived and not yet assimilated immigrants. Garrison Keillor was the last guy around making a living off of that kind of humour.

I always thought Jews should be grateful that Poles risked their lives, regardless of the death sentence imposed by Nazis on Poles (it happened to be the German occupation, sorry not sorry).
Also, Jews and Poles suffered together, goddammit.
