Yeah. The revolution has slowed down the continental trend of peasants moving to the city, so they have been preserved from disappearing into the urban masses, unlike what happened in Puerto Rico with the jibaro after the US implemented Operation Bootstrap in that island. Guajiros would be the first losers if a restoration of the old order were to happen in the island, since they benefitted a lot from the breaking up of latifundia there during the revolution by their division of the large sugar properties into cooperatives under their hands.
