I know they look nothing like Rioplatense or Pampan Argentines, but how well would they fit in Northern Argentina?

Exactly, some of them blend well among some tucumanos, catamarqueños and may be in the deep northwest (not in Puna Region though, since there are mostly amerindians or indomestizos with andean roots).
Probably most pass in Paraguay too.

But in my opinion most blend betrer in CA though.

Hmm, those people look very Central American or Mexican to me. I'm well aware the Southern Cone has sizable indigenous populations, but phenotypically there is quite a difference when comparing with their more northern counterparts, no?

I agree, they look like foreigners, to me south american indigenous people and mixed people have a different look. I've been to paraguay and bolivia a handful of times.

I can see why you say CR over the others - stronger Euro mix - but how does Nicaragua differ from Honduras and El Salvador? I know Guatemala is a lot more Amerindian, but even they have many Mestizos who wouldn't look much if any different to Nicaraguans and some Ticos too.

As I see it (cuz I have visited the area) Nicaraguans have less SSA admix than Hondurans, and are a few points more Euro than Salvadorans. They are like a scaled down version of Ticos in a way.
