The Jews of Germany were Sephardic Jews or Ashkenazis?

were the Jews living in Nazi Germany Sephardic or Ashkenazi? Looking at the photos, many seem to me to be Ashkenazis, but in reality I don't have the data to verify them.

Jews in Nazi Germany would have been almost only Ashkenazi. There had been a small Sephardic community in Hamburg.

Jews of Germany Belgium Poland And eastern europe called Ashkenazi Jews. The Jews of the Balkan mostly Separdic but there was Ashkenazi communities also in the Balkans.
And the Jews in North Africa also called Separdic because they all have Spanish roots unlike the Ashkenazi jews who orginazied in Germany.

For that question every Jew in Europe suffered from the nazis. In Germany they are Ashkenazi jews only very very small Separdic groups. Been living in Germany that days.
