    It’s just your preference. If someone lacks tanning ability who cares? You seem to be the one focusing on pigmentation.

    Pigmentation matters for men , a Guy with light or blue eyes and a tannned skin is more or less the best in womens eyes. Too light skin is a sexual dimorphic trait ( more feminine) as well as light hair, I think that is why men feel more atracted to these .
