Huila es mestizo equilibrado (51-53% Euro), así que es bastante similar al centro-norte de México. Lo que sí veo es una mezcla SSA relativamente alta en algunas personas, lo que sin duda tienen que ver con que el departamento está sobre el río Magdalena. Dicha mezcla es algo más fuerte en Tolima y el área rivereña de Cundinamarca, que están más cerca del mar.
