For us it does not represent confusion because there are many nations and we know how the Anglo-Saxon world uses the terms Spanish, Latin, American, so really the confusion is yours and well at the time those affected did not protest and now it turns out that we are the ones who have to clarify it? you were using the terms clarify it now yourselves.

A great humanity and I will not give any more information, it is time to take positions.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

Spanish people like some iberoamerican societies like the venezuelan, colombian, mexican or argentinian, this might be because this countries either are very spanish-leaning (mostly canarian, in the case of Venezuela, somehow basque in the case of Colombia or galician in the case of Argentina), or because the high immigration rate of spaniards that went there to flourish economically.

This highly depends of which country we are talking about.

Have you ever saw someone there claiming to be one?

Well, in the US I would sometimes hear them say they are ""Spanish"" but that was more just referring to the fact they speak Spanish, none of them seriously considered themselves as a Spaniard.

Never saw that there, but if you say so, i believe in your word, you seem trustful.

Ha, well I at least try and be as unbiased as possible, agendas are stupid.

Hmm, really? I found it very common in the northeast US specifically, although the people saying this were probably like third (maybe even more distant) generation. People from the country or with parents from there just identify as Argentine, Cuban, etc....
