I think its the amerindian combonent which can turn meds into somewhat more exotic looking pseudo turkish or sometimes middle eastern looking people, especially the nose/eyes. Dont (pure) turkish/turkic people originally also have mongoloid origins?

Yes, he's on the darker side of the spectrum but not extreme

yes not extremely darker than average but he's on the darker side.
