Would you say that paraguyans have more pride in their indigenous root or in their european? Do they have pride in the indigenous roots at all ? most Latin Americans dont seem to have it, although younger generations seem to think differently

How widespread is the useage of Guarani, even among higher class people?

Has due to globalization been a shift towards speaking more spanish, since the neighbors also are mostly spanish speaking countries?

I would say that an average or typical Paraguayan is more proud of their indigenous ancestry than of their European ancestry. The guaraní is very typical in the middle and lower classes, it's spoken a little less in the middle/high classes and the higher classes. In Paraguay, perhaps 90% of the population speaks a mixture of languages, Jopara (a mixture of Spanish and Guarani languages).
The new generations in the big cities are predominantly Spanish-speaking, but the Guaraní resists the globalization, I would say that the new generations (2005 and more recents) have an inclination to the Spanish language, maybe 70% more than the guaraní.

Solano López se fue a la mierda en algunas cosas, en parte sí, es culpa suya, pero hay que tener en cuenta que en esas épocas las disputas territoriales con Brasil y Argentina estaban muy al límite, de una u otra forma iba ocurrir una Guerra entre esos países, además de eso hubieron rumores y algunos papeles donde Inglaterra promociona una invasión a Paraguay, eso hay que verlo más a fondo.

Otra cosa, eso de "o has cambiado de opinión?" ,ya había hablado contigo antes? Xd
