They aren't Europeans. There are IQ differences within Europe, so of course people like Kurds or whatever will also have different IQs.

I don't know why to be honest

Personally, I like to think that it could be a need due to some weather anomalies, droughts, colder years etc to achieve more effective lifestyle which could give more and more determination to learn, discover new things, making life easier to level where people feel satisfied with life.

I won't bother to go through the sources listed, but it seems Siberians and northern Native Americans have largest brains, but they are far from being the highest IQ.
Native Americans living in what is now USA had similar brain sizes to European conquerors.

Native Americans have extremely lobe sided Verbal/Spartial Visual IQ. Their Spartial Visual IQ is NE Asian level and higher than SE Asians. Native Americans are the opposite of Jews in cognitive profile (Jews have the highest Verbal IQ).

You see this divide in Nothern Europeans vs S. Europeans. Genetically SW Europeans (little to no post neolithic influence MENA ancestry) like Nothern Italians very high Verb IQ but Finnic, Baltic and North Germanic populations who have higher amounts of Euro HG and ANE/Steppe have higher Spatial Visual Intelligence scores. I think this says alot of things about Nothern peoples that faced the greatest hardships of the Ice ages (ANE, WHG, Devil Gates NE Asians)
